The LiNA McCartney Trans-vaginal Tube
The LiNA McCartney Trans-vaginal Tube is a medical device that is continuing to revolutionise the way hysterectomies and other gynaecological surgical procedures are being performed.
The LiNA McCartney Tube makes it possible to perform hysterectomies and other gynaecological procedures completely laparoscopically.
The ease of use of the Tube and the many proven benefits it offers, make conventional hysterectomies, even laparoscopically assisted vaginal hysterectomies (LAVHs) unnecessary in many cases.
Studies of patients undergoing endometrial cancer surgery found that the wound infection rate for those having laparoscopic procedures using the Tube were significantly lower than that for patients having open procedures. It also found that they had shorter stays in hospital and a much faster return to regular activities.
World-leading Gynaecological Oncologist, Dr Tony McCartney developed the fully patented medical device, which has been used for more than 5000+ gynaecological procedures to date.
Why use the Tube?
The Tube offers many unique advantages over conventional uterine manipulators and other Trans-vaginal devices on the market. Only the Tube makes it possible for you to carry out gentle surgery with reduced blood loss.
Ease of use
Most gynaecological surgeons who use the Tube will be able to master its use simply and easily.
Additionally, personalised hands-on training with experienced Tube practitioners can be arranged where necessary.
